I was born in Calgary, Alberta and lived there for the first 10 years of my life. After that, my family bought a house in High River, which is located 25 minutes south of Calgary, and we have been living there ever since. My parents chose to move to High River because they liked the small town atmoshere, wanted to live on a farm, and they had plans of opening up a dog and cat boarding kennel. Pretty much all those things have happened since coming to High River. My parents operated the boarding kennel for eight years, and just one year ago, we chose to sell it and start something new.

I spent most of my time at school, working in the kennel, and playing paintball. Paintball is my number one hobbie and I try to do it as much as possible. I have been with the same team for 2 years now, and we have done quite well in the Alberta tournament scene. There are three divsions in paintball tournaments, Rookie (for beginners), Novice (average players), and Amateur (Highest level in Canada). For our first year we played NOvice and ranked second in Western Canada. In our second year as a team we moved up to Am and again ended up Second at the end of the season.

Since the middle of August I have been living in a house in Calgary, located around Brentwood station. I moved in with a friend from school and some other students. My parents still live in High River and I usually spend weekends there. Since moving into Calgary and living on my own I have had alot of fun. Everything is so different and getting used to all the extra freedom and responsibility took a bit of time to get used to.

The whole reason behind moving back into Calgary was to attend school. I graduated last June and am now attending Mount Royal College. I'm taking the applied degree program of Technical Communication. It is a four year program that consists of a one year long work term. I really like the program and all of the things I am learning.
